It was a head-on collision. (He's bruised but, thankfully, okay.) The other driver crossed over into his lane. My son swerved but still got nailed.

His car is probably totalled--the airbag deployed.

Since he just bought a house, he's going to need help to rent a car for a week--of course it has to be Christmas week--I'm trying to see if they can make it with the one car until after Christmas to save some $$. He won't be going to work for a day or two, but since he works for Amazon, yeah--busy time of year for them.

He's going to see his doctor today. He was checked out in the ER last night--no broken bones. He's very sore today.

In other shitty news, a very close friend of my Hubby's is moving to California. My Hubby is devastated. He's happy for his friend, but it's been ages since he had a close (male) friend--so he's taking it hard.

2016 can fuck right off.

Easter last week was fun. The kids came over, food was eaten, eggs searched for, baskets given.

Today, went to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier for the second time and I think I'm a little in lust with Sebastian Stan who plays the Winter Soldier, aka Bucky Barnes. Love the longer hair, and his eyes...OMG his eyes are sooo expressive. He doesn't speak much, so most of the acting is through those eyes. Woof. Ahem.

Going to see Arcade Fire in concert on Thursday, then off to Florida on Friday--the memorial for my SIL is Saturday. That means a killer trip down...14 hours on the road in one day. Whew. Then we'll stay Saturday & Sunday and leave Monday.

I took Thursday off so I can pack, etc, then we both took the following Wednesday off to recover. This ain't no vacation trip. It will be hard and emotional. Luckily I've got a refill on my Valium.

Guess that's about it for now.
