You're right about the noise and the fur...but it's the noise that is so upsetting to the humans in the house. ;)

And our cats usually get all mellow and playful when they have catnip. What we have done is get some Febreeze and started spraying it all over the carpet...hubby read online that sometimes it's the scent that starts it all and this has helped.
