I've been fired from one that I recall...technically 2, but the first one I told them they couldn't fire me since I quit. It was a restaurant job where I was a waitress. That's when I found out I was not cut out to be a server.

The second was when I worked as a manager at a Subway restaurant, I had no idea...I came in to work and the general manager was there taking inventory. I still don't know the official reason (Florida is a "right to work" state, so they can fire you anytime)--but the unofficial is that the owner had promised all the managers of his stores that when they got over 5 years as a manager, he'd bring them into the company as a co-owner. And since he fired me, then my friend (the only other female manager) we figured he didn't want female partners.

The being on TV, I was on the "Skipper Chuck Show" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skipper_Chuck) as a guest in the audience when I was about 9 years old. I did a "Carnival against Dystrophy", which was a fund raiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Chuck Zink was a big contributor) and as a result, I got to be on the show. Along with my sister and both brothers, because, heaven forbid, anyone miss out. ;)
