A Kitten for Severus/There Was a Crooked Man, Who Bought a Crooked Cat

Go, read, look and squee. Be prepared to tear up a bit. The story is short but powerful. It's a testament to the author that so many feels happened from so few words. I am still a bit teary-eyed as I write. *sniff* It's amazing to me that that particular prompt was chosen--it was three years ago this month that we had to put my beloved Kiracat out of her pain. So, the story of a crooked kitten being rescued just yanked at all my heartstrings.

And the art...I recognize the style and I am so very happy that this artist agreed to draw this prompt! I love (their) art so much and am humbled and very, very grateful to be the recipient of such a beautiful piece. Everything about it is perfect. Go and show these two artists some love in the comments.
