Received and read HP and the Cursed Child

I have to admit that overall, I enjoyed it. I really liked the Albus/Scorpius friendship, among other things.

No spoilers here, but there was a moment when I had ALL THE FEELS.

I can see why some folks compare it to fanfic--there are real elements of fanfic in the story--elements that have been done. By fans. In their fics. Heh.

I would love to see the play just to see how they do ALL THE SPECIAL EFFECTS.

Maybe someday.

I got my copy this week, and I've started reading but I think I'm going to start over. I got really excited when it first came in and I sped through the first act, so I really ought to slow down and give it proper time.
