How the hell did it get to be Friday already?? I know that if I was still working, it would only be Tuesday right now.

I'm exhausted, but I haven't done anything today except deposit my unemployment check in the bank. How can that be?? I've spent the whole day in front of this computer, just reading websites.

Sigh.

I really have to get better at time-management or all of this time off I've got before I start my new job will be wasted.

I resolve to write this weekend while hubby is watching his college football bowl games. I hope the hell he doesn't decide to play his video game all weekend or I'm sunk.

We are going to use one of my Mom's Christmas gifts tonight by going to the Outback for dinner. I have a feeling it may be a mistake, going on the Friday before a holiday weekend, but we're going early, so that may save us some hassle. I just have to remember to call ahead in about an hour.

I really should go and wash up the dishes, so it looks like I've gotten something accomplished today while hubby was at work. *feels guilty*

Next week I'm going to try to list a few things on ebay...although I don't know if it'll be more trouble than it's worth...

...see? I've gotten damned lazy.

Cheer up, Ray. You can look at this time off as unexpected, free "me time". I am sure you deserve some time to sit around and indulge yourself. You'll be working again soon -- give some of this forced vacation to yourself!

When you figure out where the week went let me know too. I am sure it should only be Wednesday.......oh yeah, Wednesday was that day I more or less slept all day after being up coughing and sneezing all nite.
