Randomness

Started the day off very well...ending...not so much.

Got the packing mostly done, will be finished before bed.

Clicked on a link to a YouTube video and it was of a cat meowing. This set our cats off into a huge fight. Claws, teeth, fur, the works. It was awful. I thought the move here would put all this behind us and so far, it had. Now two of them are slinking around looking suspiciously at each other and the other one is hiding under the bed.

One of them is bleeding slightly. I think it's the one under the bed.

This is not the way I wanted to start my long-anticipated trip to Florida for Thanksgiving.

I'm really bummed out right now. And it doesn't help to think that hubby blames me. I didn't do it on purpose. Just clicked a link...

*sigh*

Your cats have always had kind of a thing haven't they? And they may not have de-stressed from moving, yet. But it is soooo upsetting when your pets are fighting, I know.

{{hugs}}

Have a great Thanksgiving!

Well, we got home, let them get re-aquainted and it started happening again. The vet said we may have to find a new home for our male. He is trying to dominate the other cats. *sigh*

Our Thanksgiving was great, how was yours?

Thanksgiving was good; I went over to friends.

As for your kitty. I don't know if the circumstances are the same, but my vet told me once that she had a male cat that used to beat up her little females something wicked. So she tried putting Soft Paws (http://www.softpaws.com/?gclid=CMDIgOeesZ4CFQiA5Qodw1SQrw) on him. They're these glue-on soft plastic nail covers. Usually, they go just on the front feet to keep cats from clawing furniture, but she put them on all four. She said it took about one fight for the females to realize that he didn't have working claws, before they pounded the snot out of him. She said all was peaceful after that. (The Soft Paws grow out, and get shed with the nails.)
