Muppet Movie is Awesome!
Just got back from date night with hubby--dinner and a movie (along with picking up some cat food and the obligatory new toy for our spoiled feline companions).
We saw the Muppet Movie. OMG, so good! It was sweet, funny, corny (in the best way), and full of music and cameos. All our favorites had a part including the Swedish Chef and Animal.
So. Much. Love.
Don't know what Frank Oz thought was objectionable about the script...I didn't see anything there except love and respect for the Muppets.
And Miss Piggy rocks!
Oh, and Kermit has a Rolls Royce! EEEEEEEEEE!
Not just for kids!
Now we're going to have some hot chocolate (it's down to 28 degrees already) then we'll be off to bed soon.

It's 27 here right now @ 8am. It's only getting up to 50 at most. If we're lucky.
Have I mentioned how much I hate the cold weather?

I don't plan on buying this one when it comes out on DVD.
Did love the cameos but wished that they used some of them in skits. I didn't know who quite a few of the cameos were. I guess I'm just old. I did do a little squee when "Sheldon" was Walters alter human. I adore Sheldon!
