Tomorrow, I'm taking the evening off.

Not the whole day, unfortunately. Since I was out so much last week (friggin' sinus again, geeze), I shouldn't stay home tomorrow. Even tho I could and it would be excused, too. But, my goal this week was to get my hoggy warty finished (met!), get the second batch of gifts wrapped and sent to Florida (wrapped, will be sent tomorrow) and to make it to work every day.

The third one is looking okay. We'll see.

Listened to Christmas music while I wrapped tonight. Some of the songs made me melancholy (I'll be Home for Christmas-wahhhh!) some I just flat out sang along to. Hee. Hubby was upstairs, so I wasn't inhibited. (I'm no [livejournal.com profile] mundungus42 but I enjoyed it and the cats didn't howl.)

I have to go to bed soon if I'm going to work tomorrow.

But, as of now, except for work work, I'm not doing nuttin tomorrow. (Unless I am asked to beta read a fic for someone--which of course. That doesn't count as work to me.)

I don't think you'll be surprised that making music is one of my favorite forms of catharsis or that I too was singing melancholy Christmas tunes tonight. *hugs*

Congratulations on finishing your fic and getting all the wrapping done! Best of luck getting through what remains of work before what I hope will be a wonderful holiday!

PS Giovanni sometimes takes it personally when I pay attention to music and not to him, so my rehearsals are often interspersed with barking/whiny dog. We also had a golden retriever once who howled whenever anybody played a C on trumpet :D
