I believe it gets over 1000 hits on an average day, and most posts have over 100 comments. A lot of the regular commenters are older, almost all are really smart, and there is a lot of snark and humor. While some are more... strident... then the rest, there is none of the frothing-at-the-mouth hate and rage that you see on some of the far right blogs. All in all, it's a nice place, and welcomes all kinds - except trolls. It's a daily habit for me.
