Over one hurdle

Doug the salesguy called us tonight to let us know we've been approved! We just have to get some verification of employment (past and present...have to show two years of work) and the paperwork showing his dad deeded over the acreage to hubby and then we can talk details.

According to hubby (who took the call) we apparently were approved for the "a" level, meaning we should get the best interest rate, not to mention we may not have to put anything down which would be awesome.

So, I have to contact SunTrust and Amex for letters testifying to my length of employment at both places, and hubby has to contact his previous workplaces too. Then he has to talk to his dad.

Then we get to start picking wall coverings and floors.

I can't wait.

That was my feeling exactly. I was bouncing off the walls last night.

Okay now, as memory serves me you will probably have to get a survey done to identify the specific plot of land to be deeded to Gregory, but a "gift" transfer of land is usually done for an exchange of $10.00 between the seller and buyer.

I am so excited for you and can't wait to see the floor plan..... can I talk you into dinner and drinks anytime soon?????
