Project Gratitude, Day two

Today I am grateful for all the beta readers I've had since I've been in HP fandom. dora_the_nymph was my first, then daireen (who still helps me out from time to time).

For the last several years my alpha beta has been the lovely islandsmoke.

And last, but not least, even the mighty shiv5468 has looked over a story or two when the others were not available for one reason or another.

Well, I just finished organising a HP con here in the UK (It went stupidly well!) and am still recovering from that. I've always been awful at updating journals, but I'm still around and reading and stuff. I must admit, though, it has been many years since I read any SS/HG. Actually, maybe have read one or two since DH came out. I'm getting into reading a bit more fic now though, any recs?

Every and anything from the sshg_exchange. Last year's round was particularly good, IMO.

I especially loved Whom the Gods Annoy (http://sshg-exchange.livejournal.com/192814.html) which is both funny and touching.

And I just love anything by shiv5468 and May the Best Man Win (http://sshg-exchange.livejournal.com/220294.html) is hilarious.
