It's a beginning!

I started a diet on January 3rd and I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 7 pounds since then! Woohoooo!
I know it's just a beginning and the usual is about 2-3 pounds per week, but I was very happy. If I can stick to it this time, I hope to lose 75-100 by December.
That would be awesome.

I'm doing South Beach and I've lost about 5 lbs so far in 2 weeks.

You think people might be interested in starting a HP/Snape community weight loss support group online to cheer each other on?

What I'm doing is eating less and exercising more. I've cut my portion sizes and am trying to watch my fat/calorie/carb intake. I'm using low fat stuff like cheese, etc and I eat a "Healthy Choice" entree for lunch every day. I snack on Triscuit crackers (only one serving per day which is 7 crackers) and apples. I eat Kashi cereal for breakfast.
I stopped drinking soda.
As for the community you mentioned, if there's interest, go for it.
