Last mention of my birthday...I hope

Got more birthday cards in the mail today. Got one from one of my Delphi Forum friends which was a perfect card for me...has the doctor holding a naked baby by the ankle (the implication is he's spanking it for the first breath)and inside it says "From the day you were born, you were into the kinky stuff." And she wrote that this card just screamed "ray" to her. Hee. You see, she's read some of my fanfic...

The second card was from my dear friend in Texas who I love and miss so much. My first ever Star Trek buddy and my best friend for ever so long. I've known her longer than almost anyone else, and we shared so much...I hope that someday I get to visit her or she gets to visit me again.

The last card I got was from my best friend in Ft. Lauderdale, my sweetest little punk girl (heh or she used to be until she decided to get a 'real' job). We've been through Subway, growing kids, college, term papers...so much. I am so sad that she will be in NY when I go for my quick visit in September...but she sent me a gift certificate to RED LOBSTER!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! My hubby can't get out of it now!


I've also got a mad plot-bunny loose in my head. It all started with a little meme that snegurochka_lee posted on her LJ which was Give me any HP pairing, and I'll write you a one line story. Of course I gave her "Snape/Hermione" because: 1) I know she hates that pairing; and 2) I knew she'd come up with something amazing.
I was right on both counts. Here's what she wrote for me:

Snape loves the way that Hermione's breasts swell under his touch, the way she throws her head back and calls his name, the way she parts her legs so willingly for him, and most of all – the way her pink hair returns at the end of the hour, and as she pulls at her restraints he hides a grin, knowing that he's finally found a way to get back at that filthy werewolf.

I love it. Of course my brain starts whirring, and I had to sit down and write. Five pages later, I had half of a smutty one-shot which is going to head over into slashy territory next. I'm ever so grateful to LB for the sentence which is letting me explore Snapes darker side. And I'm liking it ever so much!

Hubby went back to the doctor again today as he has not been able to shake the cough which has been bothering him for weeks now. He was also going to go stake out the house and septic area on the property so the surveyor knows where things are supposed to be...don't ask me why the guy just can't go survey five acres from the fence-row downward, but whatever. Hubby isn't home yet, but I expect him any time. I was hoping to get some writing done, but there was a bit of bother on my favorite forum which needed attending to, and my friends are much more important to me than anything else.

Dang, this is a long update for me, guess I'd better stop now.

I dunno. I'm dying to hear what Ray has to say about it. (I got bored and posted it to Wolfsbane and E&S, but it'll be in the que a while, I imagine, so I can always sneak in and edit it in case Ray says, "WHAT ABOUT HIS SHOES?!?")

I went back and pulled it off E&S. Figure it's prudent to let my beta (and the admins at Wlfsbn) finish with it first. Easier to do edits on one site at a time...

It was getting difficult to breathe, the temptation unbearable, the heat in the room rising with every downward sweep of Snape's hands... at Remus's trousers now, unfastened and slipped down... down... falling to the floor with sweeping grace. Remus bit his lip, feeling himself harden more with every touch, desperate to be rid of his clothes, and Snape's, to just drag them both down to the floor... Snape moved lower now, and Remus made to step out of his trousers...

But first, Snape stopped to remove Remus's fuzzy slippers.

Or you could simply have Snape begin on his knees by removing the shoes and socks of his master.

Snape sank gracefully to the floor. He slid his hand along the inside of Lupin's leg, downward until he reached his foot. In a smooth motion, he slipped the house shoe off of first one foot and then the other. He set them aside, and then returned his attention to Lupin's sock-clad feet. With a practiced motion, he bent and trailed his hot tongue along the inside of the other man's leg as he rolled the first sock down. When it finally dropped off onto the floor in a shape faintly resembling a condom, Snape busied himself licking and sucking the toes of his Master. When he had finished, he repeated the action on the other foot. Lupin's cock was straining already and the only thing which had been removed were his shoes and socks.
