The shoulder is marginally better, it doesn't hurt just to move anymore--but I still cannot lift my arm higher than my chest. And if I move the wrong way...owie. So, I've been going through the days with my elbow glued to my side, as that seems to be the best way to avoid any "false" moves.

I have an appointment with the Orthopedic guy tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully, he will say that we will try PT first, not surgery. I'll post here and let anyone who's interested know.

I have been working, trying not to use the right arm too much. It's difficult, but not impossible.

I am avoiding all of the HP spoilers...I don't want to know! I want to get my book on Saturday, thank my mailman then settle in and read my own book in my own home. I don't want to know what happens until JKR's words pass in front of my eyes. It has been difficult, though, because I like previews. If I could be certain I wouldn't learn anything important, I might peek...but NONONONO...LALALALA...not going there.

Hubby has been such a big help to me since I've been hurt. He has even learned how to put my hair into a ponytail for me. However, if the doc says "surgery it is" I think I'm going to get it cut...as heartbreaking as that will be.

Well, I guess that's about it for now since my arm is aching--I need to go put it under some wet heat...

Hmm, I'm wondering if the shoulder is a rotator cuff problem? I've seen lots of those injuries; sometimes they respond to PT, but sometimes surgery is the best way to handle it. Either way, I hope you're feeling better soon!

And yeah, I hate spoilers. I respect JKR enough to let her tell her story in her own time, in her own way. That right does not belong to anyone else.

I'm glad you are surviving with the shoulder. I hope the doctor can fix it up right spiffily for ya! Good luck on that front.

I am also avoiding spoilerage as much as possible. If people can just hold their tounges until Monday afternoon, I should be good. I aim to have my first read done by then at the latest. :)

The MRI says so, according to the doctors...we'll see what the Ortho says tomorrow...

Luckily for me, I have nothing else to do (except for three hours on Saturday) except read. I'm hoping to finish by Sunday since I do know it's nearly 800 pages.
