Genre: Drama, Angst
Summary: Plus ça change ... There's corruption everywhere, attitudes haven't changed much, and Auror Granger isn't making much headway, no matter how hard she tries to make the world a better place. And while she struggles to protect and improve the world she cares about, Lucius Malfoy is fighting to save the life of the one remaining thing that means anything to him: his son. Both of them need expert help, but the expert they need is difficult to find. When they do manage to unearth his whereabouts, the discoveries that follow lead to some startling revelations that will turn their expectations upside down.
Word Count: 80,988
Do not let the word count frighten you, my friends. This story is FANTASTIC. I spent several hours yesterday reading it in between readying my contribution to the Super Bowl party we are invited to.
It is wonderful. I am not a huge fan of angst, but this has just the right amount--and I can't even begin to describe how imaginative it is. One of my favs so far.
So, set aside a few hours and settle in for this gem of a novel.
