Oh the pain...
Jul. 13th, 2007 10:06 pmThis injury is one of the most painful I've ever experienced. EVER. To make matters worse, I'm right handed, and, yes-you guessed it-the injury is to my right shoulder. (I'm typing this with one hand.)
So, I went back to work on Thursday and I have to say--they have really been fantastic. They have given me tasks to do that do not require a lot of typing. I can mouse with my left hand, so I can still be productive. This is important because I have to work as much as possible in case I have to have surgery. If that is the case, (and everyone I speak to seems to think it's inevitible) I will have to use all of my available time off for that.
I'm hoping the down time after is not too long...I know the PT will be...but I have to try to get back as soon as possible to minimize the financial hit.
I have an appointment with a specialist on Thursday, so I'll know more then.
I did see HP5 on Wednesday. ( I liked it overall...but (spoilers) )
I can't wait for the book. I still think Snape will be the tragic anti-hero.
My arm is aching, so I'll stop now.
