It's really been ssddbp here lately. Working, going home, reading, watching tv.

Watched the Olympics when it was on...was pissed that some of the events I really wanted to see were shown during the day on off-channels-or not at all.

Now watching the Democratic Convention. Love Hill's speech tonight. Looking forward to Bill's.

Still love Keith Olbermann. LOVE HIM.

Oh, and Rachel Maddow is my new TV girlfriend. I am so happy she will be getting her own show after Keith's show. Can't wait.

Work is still...work. Better than some, not as good as others.

Oh, and the books read count (since February) is 34. I am currently reading "The Troy Game" series by Sara Douglass. I have to say that she loves to torture her characters. I wish there was a teeny bit of happiness to be had between them...I had forgotten how she torments both her characters and her readers--which I discovered when slogging through "The Wayfarer Redemption" series. But, now I've read the first one, I'll have to finish the series.

I've also read the "Fire & Ice" series by George R. R. Martin...and was pretty pissed that book 5 has been delayed TWICE.

I read the "Temeraire" series in one gulp over a week's time. Does anyone know if there's going to be a book 6? I enjoyed those books very much.
