I saw Guardians of the Galaxy tonight!
Aug. 1st, 2014 12:21 amIT WAS AMAZE-BALLS! Exciting, funny, with just the right amount of angst.
Mostly funny. OMG, we laughed.
And laughed.
The entire cast is fantastic. The CGI was so good, it was seamless--at least to me.
There wasn't too much story there, but it IS an origin/introduction story after all.
The Infinity gems are mentioned and that entire storyline is moved forward.
Staying until the end of the credits is well worth the time.
That's all I'll say about that until more of you have seen it.
Over the past two days, I made a cheesecake to take to work for a pot luck we're having for a couple of team members who are going to a different department. White chocolate cheesecake with pecan/graham cracker crust. It's this recipe without the Bailey's. Just because I was out. Based on how the batter tastes, it won't matter. I made a big one for work and a wee one for baby and me.
It is his favorite, after all. ;)
Go see the movie. It's sooo much fun.
