Quiet Mother's Day
May. 10th, 2015 09:15 pmToo quiet.
Never heard from my daughter at all and only spoke to my son very briefly to let him know I couldn't join him for lunch today (due to breakfast running over).
No cards from anyone.
Did have breakfast with Hubby, then came home and played video games.
Tomorrow is a half-day at work, because we are going to Nashville for the follow up visit with the surgeon and to get the stitches out of hubby's arm.
Thank goodness.
We have to get up and leave early to pick up the rental car before we go to work. We never take our own car on long trips (not that Nashville is all that far away, but it is all highway and the last thing we want is to break down on I-24).
Some time this week is getting the a/c fixed. Can't wait for that day. It's not so bad in the daytime but once it gets dark the wind stops and it just gets all muggy. Ick. My ankles are swollen like whoa. I need to put my feet up, so that's it for today's entry.
