It's Blog Against Racism Week
Jul. 20th, 2006 07:03 pmI have never understood racism. Or any "-ism" for that matter. I was fortunate enough to have been brought up to be open-minded about people. Don't judge a book by it's cover, and all of that. I was never taught to fear or hate any particular group of people, for which I am grateful.
I only heard about "Blog Against Racism Week" today--so I started to think about what I had to say on the subject and how I could say it. And coming up with all kinds of platitudes and catch-phrases and general crap. So, I decided to set it aside for a few minutes and surf the internet.
I was cruising YouTube, and came across a video from one of our favorite guys, Blunty3000, which basically says everything I would have said---only better.
So, rather than writing some trite crap, I'm linking to it here. Go, watch. Then watch some of his other videos...they're both funny and thought-provoking.
