Avengers: Age of Ultron
Apr. 13th, 2015 11:10 pmTonight I spent two hours watching the live red carpet for Avengers: Age of Ultron--live tweeting and generally squealing like the crazed fangirl I am.
I've already got my tickets to the first show in our area (7pm on 4/30), and I literally am humming with anticipation.
Part of the reason I like watching the Marvel films so much is that, you can tell that those people really like each other. It comes through. It makes me wish I could be part of their group--you know?
(I was never a cool kid, never. I watched from the sidelines, mostly. That's why I was part of the school newspaper and yearbook staffs.)
(I am sort of making up for it by having blue streaks in my hair. My kids and grandkids think I'm cool, so that's cool. Heh.)
I love it that Robert Downey, Jr. grabbed his second chance and has run with it. If Ironman hadn't done well at the box office, we wouldn't have had Thor, Captain America or The Avengers. And that would be a shame.
Only 17 more days until I get to see the new movie. I can't wait.
