Snowflake Challenge Day 6

I'm a day behind because on Day 5 I was in the midst of a depression episode, so it didn't get up until yesterday. I'm going to try to do both 6 & 7 today. We'll see how that goes.

Which bred a few plot bunnies, but I have to confess, this little snippet was born from JKR's remark that Harry and Hermione probably should have wound up together instead of Ron and Hermione. I could make it longer in order to include lemons, but I probably won't. ;)

The Hogwarts Express rounded a turn and disappeared from sight. The families who had seen their children off soon melted away from Platform 9 3/4 until only two couples remained.
Hermione and Ron Weasley and Harry and Ginny Potter.
"Well, that's the kids off safely." Ron said. "Gin, it's time you and I were off, as well. Gloofolph gets nasty if we're late to pre-season training."
"That's why I'm happy to play for the Harpys." Ginny replied with a smirk. "But, you're right for once. We should go." She turned to Harry and brushed his lips with hers. "Will you come to the first game?"
"Wouldn't miss it."
Ginny smiled, mounted her broom and took off.
"I won't ask you the same question, 'Mione." He smiled. "Keep in touch. I'll see you when the team swings through here in October."
"I'll write to you. And I expect a letter in return." It was said in jest, an oft-lost argument.
Ron leaned into the presented cheek, kissed it and then was away.
"I thought they'd never leave." Hermione said. She turned to face Harry, her smile warm and inviting.
"Your place, or mine?"
