And boy, am I glad I did. His photos (of which he posts oodles, so if you have a slow connection, be warned. There be pictures, big pictures there) are stunning. And his life is so interesting and he writes in a very conversational style that I would kill to be able to pull off.
Anyway, all of this is leading up to the whole "out of my comfort zone" thing. Two weeks ago, Kyle posted this. I read the entry, then I thought about it...and hubby was saying it's time to go to work...and I was so torn.
This is seriously not something I would normally do. And I was terrified. And then I thought to myself...no you're a damned chicken shit. And that made me mad at myself. Because I was never so cautious before...never. And I've been lazy about writing lately and hating myself for it.
So, I agreed to be a part of the project.
I have been teamed up with a fantastic animation artist called

I've also begun writing something original that is not fan fiction for the first time in years.
I can't wait to see what comes of this collaboration.
Go and check out Kyle's LJ...there are some gorgeous photos there...including his recent (very recent) wedding. His wife wore a vintage gown and it (and she) are stunning. Not to mention the fantastic pictures of Neil Gaiman and his white German Shepherd Dog, Cabal. Among other writers he's photographing for a new book...
