Good news!
Aug. 12th, 2004 06:44 amMy husband got an offer from State Farm! And he is going to accept, because he has been working on getting this job since February! He can't wait to quit the job he has now...those fuckers have dicked him around so much; cheating him out of bonuses and benefits.
Karma's a bitch, ain't it? He's one of their best employees (hell, my husband would be almost any company's best employee) and they could have had him there for years if they weren't so assholeish. I'm glad he's quitting.
In other news, I got my TN driver's license finally...after nearly a year of living here. Guess that means I'm officially a Tennessean now.
Dad and his wife are coming for a short visit on Saturday, hope they don't run into any bad weather along the way from WV.
The KA challenge fic is coming along nicely, I wrote two pages yesterday...
Off to work.
