rayvyn2kI attended my first "event" tonight. It was a meet and greet at the local Panera Bread store. I got to meet five other participants from Murfreesboro. One of whom sold her first novel and it will be published early next year! How cool is that? I got to chat with her for a bit and she told me that NaNo helped her break some of the same bad habits that I have...including wanting to edit my first draft...
So, I'm getting very fired up for November 1st! My dad and his wife will be visiting that first weekend, so I'll have to get a bunch down before they get here...then after that--it's 50k words, here we come!
