Feb. 9th, 2005 09:23 pmMy husband is "not sleeping" on the sofa right now.
The kittens are beginning their nightly "wildcat" session, where they tear around the apartment at light-speed without regard for their own safety or the safety of others.
Freddy and Kendra won The Amazing Race last night. Blah. My favs Jon and Kris came in second. I missed the TARcon again, I hope I can go to the next one.
On a brighter note, Rob and Amber from Survivor are going to be one of the teams on TAR7 beginning in three weeks. I lurve Bahston Rahb.
We have yukky mold in our bedroom and a wet carpet...leaky pipes from upstairs apparently which came down through the walls. We are sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room.
I did about 12 loads of laundry yesterday. This is what happens when you don't own a washing machine and hate to do laundry anyway. You just do enough to get through the week, and pretty soon, you've used up everything. So, I just did it all. It took me over 5 hours. Now, I'm sore. Who knew doing laundry was good exercise?
We might have snow flurries tomorrow morning. The temperature dropped something like 25 degrees today.
I miss the sky.
I can't think of anything to get hubby for Valentine's day.
I totally blew my diet today. One of the founders of the company retired and they had pizza and cake--not only that but my order of Girl Scout Cookies came in today and I ate half a box of Thin Mints all by myself. Ugh. I felt so gross afterwards, I doubt if I'll do THAT again.
Pippin (one of the kittens) discovered the ceiling fan tonight, he was looking at it and occasionally he would sit up on his hind legs and paw at the air and his head as if he was trying to "get" the fan. Incredibly cute and hilarious at the same time.
The other kitten, Merry, watches me cook. She doesn't want anything (because I have offered), she is just fascinated with what I'm doing. She is so sweet and loves to be petted, but can't stand it for long.
I have a Harry Potter lunch box (bag? It's plastic) which I won on ebay and have been taking to work every day for the past two weeks and NO ONE HAS NOTICED.
I am finally going to send the long-promised "treat" to an internet friend sometime in the next week.
I have to go get ready for bed now. Love and big wet kisses to you all!
