Productive Weekend
Mar. 13th, 2005 08:22 pmHubby finally buggared off on Saturday for a few hours and I settled in to work on my long-neglected novel. I wrote 12 pages before he returned and was weary, but felt really good.
Today while I was watching the NASCAR race and Extreme Makeover-Home Edition I was working on the next KA trivia questions. The catagory is "Food", and I'm trying not the make the questions too hard because many of the food references are sort of "throw away" mentions. But I have a feeling the folks at KA will surprise me. I'm trying for 20 questions, four from each book. My main concern is that I do not really know all of the member's names, but dear Donna said she would help me there. It should be fun, running the trivia.
Work again tomorrow...bleah. But better than going to a telephone job, still. I just keep telling myself that and buying lottery tickets.
I have to find time to work on the book during the week, because if I go on doing it only once per week, it'll never get finished. (Some people think it may never be finished anyway--you know who you are.)
Saturday was a lovely, warm spring-like day here--but today the nip was back in the air again. *sigh* I'm sure I'll be bitching about the heat come summer, but damn, I wish it would get here already.
