Now, we wait...

Hubby and I went to the manufactured home lot today and looked around at the models. We found one we like which is a 3 br, 2 bath model with lots of windows, a big kitchen and a seperate living and den area.

The difference this time is we filled out an application with the sales guy, to see if we pre-qualify for the mortgage loan. Hubby's folks have a big multi-acre farm and he is going to ask his dad to deed over a few acres and the sales guy said if we let them use the land as collatoral, we probably would not have to put any money down for the house. Hubby doesn't think it will be a problem since he is the heir anyway. So, if everything goes well, we may be getting the house started very soon.
