First, big thank yous and kisses to my lovely sister who sent me a beautiful heart-shaped silver pendant for my birthday. It is gorgeous and I love it. Can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks!

Next, used my Red Lobster gift certificate on Friday--lots of yummy seafood and good company from hubby.

The weekend was quiet with a storm of good lovin' on Saturday evening. Yowza.

The Plot Bunny has stopped rushing around in my head. I'm nearly finished writing it, I just have to figure out how to get Lupin involved. That should be fun!

The remnants of Hurricane Katrina have arrived in Tennessee, lots of wind and water. I saw a few trees down, but we really didn't get much here.

My family in Ft. Lauderdale also escaped damage...the worst was that a few of them are without power.

Thoughts and prayers to everyone in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida who were not so lucky.

There is no additional news on the house. Still waiting for the damned survey.

The medicine the doctor gave hubby last week seems to have done the trick. He is back to his old sweet self again.

I have a feeling I'm going to be needing a "new" car soon.

I wish I could take a week off and just veg...I need a vacation.
