Randomness
Mar. 9th, 2006 09:25 pmNothing really new going on...just the same old shit every day. Hubby and I are working the same schedule now.
The training is moving along really well. I'm really catching on fast. Whew. It is exhausting and I have had low-grade headaches for the last few days after work. I need new glasses, no doubt about it.
I love Iron Chef America. They took the concept and really made it so much better.
Got BBQ pork bubbling away in the crock pot. We're having a "pot luck" tomorrow to celebrate getting back into our classroom after the "incident" and this is my contribution. Yummy.
Hubby and I had a heart to heart after our trip to the country last week. Movement on the house should be happening soon.
Pippin (my male cat) is afraid of thunder and hides inside the back of the sofa whenever he hears it.
Speaking of thunder, there was a storm that was so bad tonight I was afraid my car would blow off the road. I saw a speed limit sign which looked like "every sign ever filmed for the hurricane coverage" it was flipping back and forth so fast.
I feel the need for a road trip. I used my best Bilbo Baggins voice and said to hubby the other night "I want to see mountains again...mountains!" He just raised an eyebrow at me. I want to go to the Smokey Mountains for a weekend...soon. I think we might. :)
I'm going to try making my daughter's veil this weekend. Wish me luck.
I have really lost interest in my WIP on SH and I don't know what I should do about it.
I miss watching baseball. If we were still in Florida, I'd be overdosing on the Marlins' spring training games.
I am really glad the screechy sisters were eliminated from TAR last week. I hope Lake (like the Ocean) and his bathmat wife are the next to go. I still love the Nerds and the Hippies. Fran and Barry need to stop making poor detour choices. Ray and Yolanda are yummy to look at and seem to be racing well so far. HATE the beach bums. The Danis are not as bad as I originally thought they would be. Thank heavens they got rid of those pink outfits. Monica had the best quote..."I'm filthy...and I love it." HEE. Perfect attitude.
Was Lost a rerun?
Oh, and just for my sanity, please--if you post and don't have a LJ, I would really appreciate if you would sign your comments so I am not left wondering who the heck said that? Thanks.
