Randomness
Mar. 20th, 2006 08:02 pmGot an email last Friday from a friend letting me know the "Six-Pack" (a group of six women, including me, from my old job who used to get together for dinner once per month for a bitchfest and then chat. Since two of us no longer work there, we've only been able to get together once.) was going to meet for dinner. Since our class was just reviewing at work, I asked my supervisor if I could take a couple of hours of PT so I could join them. It was granted and I met up with the others (sadly, our cute Latina member was unable to attend) and we had the BEST TIME. Before we knew it, three hours had passed and we had to part. Hopefully, we will be able to get together again real soon.
Hubby and I spent the rest of the weekend lazing around the apartment in our pajamas.
I HAVE to get busy on the veil, this weekend, without fail.
It is cold as shit today. It was raining this morning and of course, my umbrella was in the car. Grr.
Hubby found a leak in the kitchen this morning. Turns out the water heater in the apartment above us was leaking. Luckily it was fixed fast with no real damage done. I "gently" reminded him that we probably wouldn't have these kind of issues in a house...
I bought a complete copy of "Heroes of Might and Magic III" off of ebay. I've been playing a copy which was ripped from the original and is incomplete. So, I can't wait to get it this week sometime.
I ordered some stuff from Roaman's, asked them to ship it to the office here and UPS managed to NOT deliver it there, so I have to go pick it up tomorrow. HATE.
At least I'm going in and getting off early tomorrow. We are having some kind of special meeting where the other departments tell us all about their jobs. Hopefully it will be interesting and not boring. They are supposed to be feeding us breakfast and lunch, so there is that.
Guess that's about all for now. Scintillating entry, wasn't it?
Edited to add a link to one of the funniest things I've read in ages. Nobody brings the funny about cats the way that Sars does at Tomato Nation. Heavy Duty
Seriously, put down the beverage before you read.
