Randomness

Another week gone, another pat on the back at work. I'm routinely doing double work every day--getting lots of practice and feeling better about the job. The days go by so fast, it's unbelieveable. We'll see how that changes once I have to start taking phone calls.

Looks like another lazy Saturday ahead. That's fine, Hubby and I will probably be mostly just playing games, etc. Sometime this weekend, I do need to get over to Linens and Things to pick up some new bedsheets as the ones we have are wearing through in places. (ahem)

I would love to go see the latest "Pirates" movie, but dunno if we will get motivated to get out of the apartment or not.

Only another week and a half until my son and his family are here...can't wait!

I'm about halfway throught scott_lynch 's book, "The Lies of Locke Lamora" and I'm really enjoying it! I'm reading it slowly, savoring it. His use of language is simply amazing. If you enjoy fantasy or simply want a rollicking good read, I encourage you to run to your nearest bookstore and pick up a copy.

Haven't heard any more regarding the deed to the property yet. I suppose I could call my MIL, but gah--I hate the phone. And I figure, she will call us if and when there's anything new to report.

Guess that's all for now...damn, my life has been boring lately. Although--I suppose that's a good thing! ;)
