Happy Father's Day, Daddy

Dear Daddy,

Thank you for always being there when I needed you. Thank you for all the times you helped me when the kids were small and I didn't know where to turn.

Thank you for your sense of humor, your laugh, your smile. Thank you for never taking life too seriously--even when things were very bad.

Thank you for your strength. If I hadn't inherited some of it, I never could have made it through all the bad times.

Thank you for all you've done, all you are, and for being my dad.
