Mostly suckage

Work sucks lately. After the stress of the last several weeks, I took last Thursday off to decompress (which didn't work as well as I'd hoped since I was responsible for getting the laundry done) and when I got back to work I had an email basically stating that the management has decided--for NO REASON AT ALL OTHER THAN TO CHANGE SOMETHING--that they are going to swap four supervisors around. So, two teams from each side of our department (which is separated by one hallway) are going to swap team leaders.

Mine is one of those teams.

I am NOT happy--as you might imagine.

It would be different if this were part of a departmental realignment and I was assigned to another team leader. But, this is just changing things for the sake of change...I compare it to the "pointy-haired boss" in the Dilbert comic strip who is clueless but has to change things just to appear to HIS boss that he's working.

I really like and get along with my team leader. And I know, I know, before you all say it (like it's been said to me by EVERYONE) I may like the new guy, too. What I DON'T like is this random changing around of FOUR out of the more than TWENTY team leaders.

IT SUCKS BIG, HAIRY DONKEY BALLS.

In other news, I'm writing like mad.

Had fun over the weekend and froze my ass off at the hockey game my nephew participated in on Saturday.

Nothing much else happening. Wishing again I didn't have to work.
