House Hunting
Sep. 16th, 2009 11:39 pmTomorrow afternoon we are meeting with our real estate agent to go look at a bunch of houses. We hope to see five or six all together.
Hubby and I agreed that we will have to make a choice this week. It must be among the ones we've seen (after tomorrow) and get moving. All the ones with "charm" or that we were sort of attracted to are either under contract or short sales...if we had started looking earlier in the year a short sale may have been possible, but not at this late date if we want to qualify for the 8 grand. (And we do.)
I just looked at our "final" choices again online...and it's hard to tell, but they seem okay. I wish that hubby was willing to look at a few places further from work because there was one with a screened in back porch...*sigh*
But, I am glad that he's finally on board with getting a house as this has been a LONG ASS time coming.
To make things even worse...it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow.
One work friend said that may be a blessing in disguise because we can see what the properties look like in the rain...how the gutters drain, etc.
But...RAIN!!!!!!!
I should get to bed, but my nerves are keeping me awake.
Wish us luck...and partly sunny skies. ;)
