Project Gratitude Day 10

Today I am grateful for the helpful folks at Best Buy (thanks, Amanda and Jason!) for helping me with my purchases. I got an awesome gift for my sister's birthday.

And we picked up our new computer! Wheeeee! An all-in-one. Haven't set it up yet...but will do so soon.

Can't wait.

I am happy to report that the latest chapter in my (years-)long neglected WIP, "The Binding of Hermione" is now posted at Ashwinder.

And, in an embarrassment of riches, my wizard_love entry, "The Auction" is also posted today!

Project Gratitude Day 11

Today I am grateful to have gotten off work early in order to accomplish everything I needed to before hubby and I take off to the cabin in the woods my sister rented for the weekend.

My sister was born two days before my birthday--and we have always celebrated together on the middle day. After I moved from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Middle TN, we didn't think it would make that much difference...

...but it does. We have found a way to be together on or around our birthday every year since. :D

And this year it is in a cabin in Georgia. Hubby and I leave tomorrow morning and we'll be back Sunday sometime.

I'm sure I'll have many more things to be grateful for when I return.

Take good care of the interwebs for me in case I don't get back online before Sunday.
