The Wise Forgive (director's cut)

I posted a substantially rewritten version of my 2010 sshg_exchange fic "The Wise Forgive"on AO3 tonight. (Or should I say this morning?? GAH.)

I worked on it for most of the day. I still cannot believe it was not sent back to me with admonitions to clean this mess up and submit it again.

I plead writer's block. And it was so late, the mods probably despaired of me ever turning in anything. So, they must have accepted it with a sense of pure relief that I'd actually finished it.

I will be forever grateful to them. Sincerely and utterly grateful. I did some of my best writing for that exchange, and I'm always so very proud to be represented among the other fantastically talented writers (and artists) who participated.

I hope to continue to post things there--trying to get back into the habit of writing. And I still owe islandsmoke her birthday gift. Which there is an idea or two rattling around...so hopefully it'll be on 'paper' soon.
