It has been an amazing two weeks

...and still going.

I feel like I'm channeling mundungus42 because every day, even at work, my story is simmering in the back of my head. Sometimes it comes to the forefront and I have to jot down the idea. I have so many post it notes on my desk at home with snippets. Then when I get home I fire up the computer and things just start to flow.

It's fantastic. I wish it was like this all the time. I'm trying to maintain by firing up Word every day and so far it has worked.

Chapter Five of The Binding is 8k words and counting. But I'm only on the 2nd draft, so it may wind up shorter.

You guys...you guys...I feel like a writer again. *weeps*

And, the best thing of all is that I really am enjoying where this story is going. And I've got a few things to work out because it's now set after the War instead of during--so Moldy Voldy isn't the Big Bad anymore.

GAH!! Wish I could just stay home and scribble.

I need an HP writing icon. There has to be one somewhere of Snape with a quill, right??
