Outside the windows

rayvyn2kIt's sleeting and has been all day. As I said on FB, I realize that what we have here is nowhere near as bad as what the more northern climes received (and continue to receive), but the folks here don't deal with this stuff and don't know how to drive, etc in it.
In fact, my job didn't actually shut the place down until 10AM--once they realized it was an all day event (which the media has been harping on the entire weekend--but maybe they don't have TVs, computers or phones?) and only about a quarter of the employees showed up.
I was not one of them. I couldn't gather enough courage to get into a car in these conditions.
Glad hubby made it there and back again in one piece.
The front yard with our car after Hubby had knocked all the ice off of it. This was AFTER he got back from work. Which shows how bad it is since he left the house @8:30 and got back around 10.

This is the view of our back deck. You can see the icicles on everything.

Hopefully, if this keeps up, work will be cancelled again tomorrow. I can only hope.
