Okay, assuming family, friends, pets, etc.

What are you thankful for, F-list?

For myself, I'm thankful for the internet--without which I would never have met the love of my life.

I'm thankful for good books (specifically Harry Potter, Earth's Children, Mary Stewart's Merlin series, Stephen R. Donaldson's Chronicals of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever and The Lies of Locke Lamora), classic movies - Casablanca (anything with Bogey and Bacall), The Philidelphia Story (ditto, Katharine Hepburn), It's a Wonderful Life (do I have to say it?)and Bugs Bunny.

edited to add: I'm really thankful my hot water heater broke, flooding the apartment, yesterday instead of tomorrow.

I'm thankful to my parents for giving me this life and for being the best parents they knew how to be. I'm thankful to Fred for being a good, kind, decent person who has chosen to spend his life with me. I'm thankful that my business is going well, and that I've been able to (more or less) do what I want with my life. I'm thankful for my friends, both online and in real life. I'm thankful that I live in a place/time where my biggest worries are how to lose weight and what to spend my free time doing. :)

Being alive and living where I do. And the internet, though it sounds rather awful to say that. I've met some wonderful people through it - and that's how I got the World's Most Wonderful Puppy!
