...yesterday. And as I was going through it I realized that my first three chapters are utter crap.
The rest of it is pretty good--if I do say so myself.
But I resisted the urge to correct or rewrite and I got some more of it done. I want to try to actually finish it, if not send it out into the world.
"Yeah, right." I hear many of you saying. And you're correct. But, the characters seem to be bothering me again, so we'll see how it goes.
I intend to get it finished, then go back and see if I can do anything about the first part of the book.
On another note, by this time next week, Hubby and I will be on our way back from our Florida visit!

Date: 3/18/07 06:49 pm (UTC)I started a book once, and was thinking about it the other day. I realized that it was started over twenty years ago, and that some of it would have to be re-written (if I decided to finish it) simply because technology has changed so much. Didn't that make me feel old!

It's good to reconnect to the past through your writing.
