Ugh

So, last night I suddenly could not get warm. I mean, it's not like it was thirty degrees outside (in the low sixties) either.

At one point I was wearing my sweater coat and was covered with two blankets and one cat and I was still shivering.

Once I finally felt warm, I got really hot and was sweating buckets. I threw off the blankets until I got cold again.

Turns out I had a fever. Just out of the blue.

After a night of misery, I stayed home from work today. I haven't been chilled (so far) and have slept most of the day. I'm feeling a bit better now and I hope to get back to work tomorrow. But damn, that was scary.

Weirdness. Look at it as a positive sign that your body is doing its job fending of bad bugs. Glad you're better today!

No fever today, thankfully. It spiked at 101 then broke yesterday sometime.

But it now appears that I have shingles. Ugh. Painful.
