Home today, not feeling so hot. I'm really trying to fend off a cold which is threatening me. I can feel it starting in my clogged head and my upper respiratory area. And my throat. But it's not full-blown yet, and I'm hoping to keep it that way since I CAN'T GET A FLU SHOT THIS YEAR.

Fuck you flu shot makers.

On a completely different note, it's about 45 degrees outside right now, not expected to get above 59 today and I'm still enough of a Floridian to find it amazing that it actually gets cold in November rather than January. It's expected to get into the 30s tonight and DAMN. I do love the crispness of the air, but I'm not looking forward to actual winter. People around these parts are predicting snow.

Just sent off birthday cards to my mom and my nephew...my daughter's card will go out as soon as I find her new address.

Too many November birthdays in this family!

My kittens are already driving me nuts, tearing around the house at warp speed.

Guess that's all for now, I've got to go get some OJ, and some breakfast...mmmmmm breakfast.

I'm actually more afraid of getting flu shots than getting the flu, love. *is terrified of needles*

We had a gorgeous weekend - 65 degrees and sunny. Today is a bit cooler. I think the temp was around 38 when I was driving to work, with a predicted high of around 55. I like the cool weather though - so long as it's not bitterly cold and windy. :D

I'm not crazy about needles myself *shudder* but I've gotten the shot for the last about eight years and I haven't gotten the flu or even sick ONCE. So, I'm a bit perturbed that the one year I CAN'T get it, I start to feel like crap the minute the weather begins to change.
