Went to check the messages at KA, noticed there were a few folks in chat and wandered into the room for the first time in ages. It turns out the KA trivia had been moved to their chat and was due to start in a few minutes! I hung around and participated (first time EVER) and even got a few points! I was surprised at how many answers I knew...and how many I THOUGHT I knew! It was loads of fun.

Hung around afterwards and chatted with the folks...remembered how much I lurve live chat! I will have to do that more often.

Got some fantastic ideas for the Lucius Malfoy animagus form from the group...so far white spider and white mink are in the lead...

Am feeling a bit better, not so "off" as I was the other day. Yay for feeling better!

Hubby is asleep on the sofa AGAIN, after swearing he wasn't going to sleep AGAIN. Did I believe him? NO.
(But it bugs, because he's such a booger when I try to get him up and into bed. I just wish he would go lay down IN THE BED. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Can you tell it's a peeve of mine?)

Gonna go play a mindless game for a bit and then off to bed.

Sorry I didn't get to stick around for trivia. It is a lot of fun- even if you are a dumbass like me. I just started to get so sleepy I was having trouble keeping my eyes open. (Still am, but I have to get up).

I still vote for "Fox". Why would a ferret be running around Hogwarts any more then a fox would? I just don't see LM as a spider. Foxs are sky, cunning and sometimes vicious creatures, but also quite beautiful. Being an equestrian and haveing foxhunted in Maryland where the redtail fox are in abundant, I know first hand. In the 8 years I hunted regularly with my local hunt, we never once caught one (not even the old farts!)- they are just too darn smart! They purposely lead you on a merry chase and then somehow disapear without a trace when you are too close. I've seen them sit on the top of a hill waiting for the hounds to pick up on them then go trotting away, leaving a scent for us to pick up on. It's like they are waiting saying "I'm over here dumbasses!!!"

Want to know something funny? I read it as "sly"...

I have to say, even though I love the idea of Lucius being a mink or a fox, I may have to use spider just because I don't know HOW the HELL I would get a fox or a mink into Hogwarts...

But, I haven't decided yet, so I hope folks keep the suggestions coming!

BTW---you were missed at trivia, but boy, do I understand about being tired!!
