Good news, bad news

Hubby and I got the whole weekend off from babysitting. My son worked the whole last week and his boss gave him both days off. So, hubby and I are doing the whole "slug" thing, heh.

I have to say, we are enjoying spending time with Tyler. The only "down-side" is that he has so much energy that we are exhausted after he goes home. hee. Hubby says he's getting back in shape. BWAH.

I took my car in to get the oil changed this morning and discovered we have a crack in the intake manifold...that will cost us 800.00 to have repaired. *sigh* I hope this doesn't mean the house is delayed yet again.

The season finale of "The Amazing Race" is tomorrow night. I hope the Beauty Queens win, the other two finalists are just too horrible, IMO. Wish I was going to TARcon in NYC. Once again, not enough money.

I hate being poor.

Well, I guess we're not really poor but lower middle class. I just wish I had enough money to pick up and travel when I want to go. Or buy a new car.

But, wishing won't make it so--I just have to keep on working, I guess. And playing the lottery, hee. Hey, a girl can dream, right?
