rayvyn2kSorry I've been so silent lately, more health issues--lower back problems, mostly.
Finally had an MRI Thursday and saw the doctor Friday and the result is some degeneration of discs and a bit of bulging.
But the spinal cord is okay as the bulging is going outward. So, the verdict is pain management and exercise to try to strengthen the muscles around my spine.
In other news, I'm down 36 pounds since late April and my sugar is averaging 125. It's been as low as 105 in the last week, so go me. Oh, and also had a sleep study done, which I haven't heard back about yet--which is kind of pissing me off. I'll have to call them, after they inconvenienced me, not to mention the little cow who hooked me up to the wires was a bitch and not very empathetic when I was having a HUGE anxiety attack right in front of her. "Well, obviously, I can't MAKE you stay." Bitch.
Winter is coming--we had a brief glimpse of autumn last week with temps in the 60s and down to the 40s at night. *sigh* I love autumn, but HATE winter. Thankfully, we are going to Florida the week between Christmas and the New Year and I can thaw out.
Still miss Kiracat--can't believe it's been two months. I still sometimes think I "see" her out of the corner of my eye...I wonder how long it will be before that stops?
The exchange fic is stalled with a week to go. May have to plead for an extension since I've been navel-gazing so much lately because of my pain, health issues, etc. *makes puppy eyes at mods*
