I'll put together a long, newsy post complete with pics after I get home, but I wanted to let you all know that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was both completely awesome and a bit disappointing at the same time. The disappointment was that there is not enough of it. Many of the places on Diagon Alley are merely storefronts, fakeity, fake fake. The real ones are really fantastic...and very crowded.

I had a wonderful time. One of the best things was that I have lost enough weight to fit into the ride seat with no trouble at all...AND I was able to purchase a Slytherin tee shirt that fits--off the rack!!

One of the cast members had the nerve to call me a Muggle...but I pointed to my tee shirt which proclaimed "Hogwarts' Alumni" and she was forced to take it back. Hee.

In Ft. Lauderdale now, had a lovely evening with my daughter and her family last night and today we are going to see the rest of the family at my sister's house. Tomorrow we start the journey home, hopefully we can make it back without running into bad weather.

Don't have to be back to work until Thursday. Hope you all have a fantastic New Year!

Sounds like a great time! I think no matter how much there was at Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade, I'd want MORE! I think the rides would be out, alas. I was never a huge fan of roller coasters, though I did enjoy a number of them at Disney, but now that I've developed positional vertigo, I think it would be asking to be made severely miserable. I can dream, though.
