Had a lovely, relaxing day yesterday. Hubby went to mind the art gallery so I had the apartment and the computer to myself. I worked on my "maybe" KA challenge fic (maybe depending on whether or not I can write it the way I intend to and still enter it), had a long, lovely chat with Guernica on yahoo IM, and watched the Brickyard 400 which my favorite driver, Jeff Gordon won!
After that, I went out to the in-laws for supper and visiting. They live in the country, and after supper we sat on the porch chatting as the sun went down over the hills. There were hummingbirds buzzing around the flowers in front of the porch--tiny ones and not even three feet away. As the sun went down, the frogs began singing, the crickets chirupping and it was just a wonderful way to end the visit.
After that, we went home and watched some baseball--I wrote another page for "The Binding..." and then I was so tired, I went to bed.
At work now, feeling refreshed and ready to start the week. Now, enough goofing off, it's time to work.
