Yesterday I started feeling odd/bad at around 11 in the morning and it got worse from there.

Hubby brought in some stuff that he got from Granddaddy's house, which he did wipe most of the dust off of before he brought it in, but I think that has to be what irritated my throat and chest. Last night, my whole windpipe felt sore, kind of like when bronchitis is coming on. Then, I couldn't sleep. Went to bed at 11:30, wasn't asleep by 12:30, took a sleeping pill (which I hate because the next day everything tastes metallic) which didn't help as I woke up twice more before the alarm went off.

My husband commented on my raw, raspy voice this morning and promptly called in to work for me.

I'm feeling slightly better now, after watching 3 docs on Netflix. Still got an hour and a half before hubby is home with food/icy drink, so I'm going to go find another short one. I found one on Harry Dean Stanton which I thought would be interesting, but it's too "art-student/show off-y" for me. Just tell me about the man's life and films and stop rehearsing for your Academy Award speech. Geeze.

I hope this is a one day thing, aggravated by the old icky dust from those things baby brought into the house and not actual bronchitis, because, damn it, I don't want to delay the Trans-Atlantic Cable being thrust up my hind end any longer than necessary. I have come to terms with it being Thursday, the days off have been booked, and I don't need any interruptions. Grr.

the Trans-Atlantic Cable...

LOL! That's wonderful, I'll have to remember that one. Ya know, it'll be over before you know it. You probably spent far longer in labor.

Ugh. Hope it's just the dust.

I can't take credit for "Trans-Atlantic Cable"...I wish I could. It's from this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9J7sVZd69uw which is comedian Shane Caldwell. Hubby introduced me to this via a CD called "Drive Time" which is a collection of bits from Shane Caldwell's cable access show---which my hubby has parodied both on video and on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gus3Zevt0iw ...that is his first Chuck Goober video for YouTube, and there are one or two others. His other vids are good, too, yours truly is in a couple. Oh and I made a few vids, too, back in the day.

And, since I have this bronchitis, I had to postpone the procedure until 7/11. *grumble*
